Fun but expensive once you're inside
Entry ticket is reasonable but everything inside adds up fast — rides, show bags, food. Still a great atmosphere and worth doing at least once. Would go on a weekday next time to avoid the worst of the crowds.

A proper day out, worth the trip every year
Took the kids and we easily spent 6 hours there. Something for every age group, and the show ring events (woodchopping, equestrian) are genuinely impressive even if you're not into agriculture normally. Food prices are steep though.
