Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using theratinghub.com ('the Platform'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register on RatingHub. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@theratinghub.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Reviews and content

Reviews must be based on your genuine first-hand experience. You must not post false, misleading, or defamatory content; post reviews in exchange for payment, incentives, or at the direction of the reviewed business; post content about your own business or a competitor's business under a false identity; or post content that is offensive, discriminatory, or unlawful.

By submitting a review, you grant RatingHub a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to publish, display, and moderate your content on the Platform.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not attempt to manipulate ratings or the Platform's integrity; use automated tools to submit reviews or access data at scale without our written permission; reverse-engineer or scrape the Platform; or use the Platform in any way that violates applicable law.

6. Business accounts

Business owners may claim and manage their company profile subject to our verification process. Businesses must not use their account access to alter or remove legitimate customer reviews. Business responses to reviews must be respectful and factually accurate.

7. Intellectual property

All Platform content, branding, and technology is owned by or licensed to RatingHub Pty Ltd. Your reviews remain your intellectual property subject to the licence granted in Section 4. You may not reproduce Platform content without our written consent.

8. Disclaimers

RatingHub provides reviews for informational purposes only. We do not verify every claim made in reviews and do not warrant the accuracy of any review. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on review content.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, RatingHub's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform is limited to AUD $100. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Changes

We may amend these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance.
