Good platform for Australian compliance requirements — data sovereignty sorted

For our fintech application, data sovereignty is non-negotiable — all customer data must remain in Australia. CloudCraft AU is the cleanest solution we evaluated for this. Their infrastructure is solely Australian-hosted with no cross-border data replication by default. SOC 2 Type II report was available on request under NDA. The object storage and managed PostgreSQL services are solid and have been reliable over 14 months. The pricing model is slightly opaque — egress costs are not surfaced clearly in the UI and we had a surprise bill in month three. Their billing team resolved it quickly but the dashboard needs clearer cost forecasting. Overall a solid choice for Australian compliance-constrained workloads.

Best APAC-native cloud platform — latency is a genuine advantage

We migrated from a US-based cloud provider to CloudCraft AU primarily for latency reasons. The difference is measurable and meaningful — our Sydney-region APIs dropped from 180ms average to 22ms. The onboarding team handled the migration planning and our DevOps lead said the documentation was the clearest he had seen. Pricing is competitive with AWS ap-southeast-2 at similar specs. The managed Kubernetes service is particularly strong — autoscaling policies are intuitive and the dashboard visibility is excellent. Support team is in Australian timezones which matters for incident response. Only downside is the marketplace of third-party integrations is smaller than AWS or Azure, but for core infrastructure it is excellent.
